The Local Government Pension Scheme is open to all non-teaching staff. Staff contribute between 5.5% and 12.5% linked to salary scale with employer contributions of 25.7% for all. The Teacher Pension Scheme is open to all teachers. Staff contribute between 7.4% and 12% linked to salary scale with employer contributions of 28.68% for all.

Holiday entitlement and occupational sick pay follows the conditions of service set out in The Burgundy Book for teachers and The Green Book for non-teachers. There is paid leave for jury service. There is additional pay for a variety of instances, such as working holiday revision sessions or part-time staff completing parents evenings or training days.

There are many other benefits such as free car parking, paid travel for staff moving schools in the working day, a Cycle to Work scheme, free gym and free food/refreshments for events/meetings.
