We have high staff retention and there are genuine opportunities for Trust-wide career progression.

New teachers are well supported – such as our outstanding programme of ECT support and we are committed to the continued progression of teachers through our SLAT Teaching School.

There are also CPD opportunities for lifelong learning and progression such as support for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for aspiring non-teaching staff and instructors, the study of NPQ’s.

The Teaching Assistant Responsibility (TAR) scheme gives development opportunity for those wishing to develop an area of specialism.

There are other opportunities to develop within the Trust by being involved in Trust initiatives, such as a staff working group (ACA) where staff can work on live projects alongside colleagues.

The SLAT Associate Scheme identifies and develops emerging leaders providing experience and training within a dedicated area of school strategic responsibility.

As our schools are geographically close to each other, we provide opportunities for relocation and progression across Trust schools.
