
Our Student Behaviour policy outlines all we do across the Trust. Staff are not expected to tolerate any instances of poor behaviour, to support staff we have a range of strategies in place.

■ Staff can request assistance during lessons, for behaviour, medical or pastoral needs.
■ ■ Non-teaching Year Leads always available to respond to on call requests as well as supporting students throughout the day.
■ ■ Pastoral Managers play a key role in ensuring an environment is maintained where quality teaching and learning can happen.
■ ■ Appropriate system of sanctions in place to ensure consistency for poor behaviour.
■ ■ Show My Homework is a single platform used to set homework, record rewards and behaviour sanctions, update seating plans etc.
■ ■ After school provision for behaviour sanctions.
■ ■ Pastoral team follow the ladder of escalation so that teachers are supported and students are treated consistently.
■ ■ School site covered by CCTV which is constantly monitored throughout the school day.
■ ■ Each year group has it’s own designated yard for break and lunchtimes, as well as their designated food outlet.
■ ■ Designated areas for our team of safeguarding staff which provides an environment where students can feel safe and supported.
■ ■ Students have access to a designated email via our school website, which is closely monitored and followed up.
■ ■ Year 11 prefects support with break and lunch duties as well as at specific school events throughout the year.
■ ■ Schools are well represented within the community (e.g. atendance at Remembrance parades, performing at Christmas lights events).
■ ■ Students have access to a ‘Students Say, We Listen’ button on the school website where they can make suggestions and comments.
